Nigel Plunkett kindly emailed me a total of 55 photographs from the trip. Many were similar to those already on the web but the following dozen have been added for your enjoyment.
After the drive down from Calais Jen quenches her thirst with a nice cold beer in the cafe outside the cathedral in Laon.
A couple of cars had gone straight on the Hotel, but most were doing the same as Jen.
Malcolm, Liz and Dave enjoying a strawberry flan. It looks as though Malcolm has missed his mouth and put one in his eye!
The convoy as it approached Coucy on the return from Compiegne. We had stopped to take a picture of Coucy's ramparts from a distance.
The statue of Marchal Foch in the Clairiere de L' Armistice near Compiegne. Some wag told Les Pratt that he mustn't be in the same photograph as it wouldn't be right to have Foch and Pratt in the same scene.

The Clairiere de L'Armistice is now a museum with a replica of the original railway carriage where the armistice was signed in 1918 and the French surrendered in 1940. There are also many other items of interest held here form the 1st World war.
Sunday morning and a running road race took place in Coucy. It started outside the Hotel and caused us to modify or planned route away from the Hotel.
The runners stream out of the Laon gate just behind the hotel.

Some have already departed for home in order to get an earlier crossing. What you see here is the rest of us saying goodbye at the St Hilaire service station.
