National Classic Cars Drive it Day (A CVCM & CCVC event) This is a Fun Run starting at Brentwood and following the route of the old A12. The RSPCA fun day will no longer contain a Classic Car section. However, there is a show at Matching Green halfway between Chelmsford and Bishops Stortford. Apparently, you don't have to book, just turn up and have a picnic lunch with you in case the pub is too busy! |

Sporting Bears Charity Classic 2010 at Kimbolton Castle, Kimbolton Cambs. A great event with a busy show ring and many craft stalls and unusual displays. SGR FM Air Display and Classic Car Show. This big show with an estimated attendance of 7000 is held on Rougham Airfield near Bury St. Edmunds. As well as the air display and classic cars, there are many other attractions: Commercial and military vehicles, large and small steam engines, fair organs, a fun fair, re-enactments, plus entertainment and exhibitors. There is a £10 entry fee per vehicle, which entitles you to attend both days Some of our members are considering going both days and camping overnight. I've just received the brochure for this year and our 2009 cars are featured on it. The PCC has invited us to join them at their 30th Anniversary celebrations at Brooklands "the home of Panthers" See the events page of their web site www.panthercarclub.com for full details. September 8th - 13th (10)

This year we will be returning to Lyons-en-Foret. The hotel and area
was very good and there are many places in the vicinity that we haven't
visited, including Rouen and Gerberoy and I'm sure everyone would be up
for another round or two of cider and crepes at the farm. |
